Murilo Branco

Murilo has been a lecturer at MIUC since 2016, bringing with him a wealth of international experience gained from both work and study abroad. His educational journey includes living in Australia, where he graduated with a degree in business with a marketing emphasis from the Kent Institute of Business. During his time in Australia, he worked in a distribution company specializing in imported decoration goods in the Sydney area.

In Brazil, Murilo dedicated 7 years to working at the third-largest container terminal in the country, assisting customers in finding optimal logistics solutions. His commitment to professional development led him to Antwerp, Belgium, in 2012, where he received a grant to study Container Terminal Management at the APEC Institute.

In 2013, Murilo completed his MSc degree in Supply Chain Management Relationship, marking the beginning of his career as a professor teaching Production Systems and Reverse Logistics. He successfully obtained his Ph.D. in Business and Economics from the University of Malaga in 2021, graduating with cum laude and international mention. His research focus included Green Supply Chain Management and consumer behavior.

Since 2019, Murilo has also been a professor in the MBA and BBA programs at the University of Gibraltar. Concurrently, he holds responsibilities in sales and marketing at Galaxy Kayaks, a Spanish kayak distributor, overseeing operations in the Portugal region since 2016. His primary areas of expertise and interest lie in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Business Strategy.
