New agreement just signed with Saint Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON).

On June 7, 2016, Marbella International University Centre (MIUC) signed a cooperation agreement with the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON).

During the post-soviet years, UNECON firmly established itself among the leaders of the Russian economic schools, being the first in the official ratings of the Russian Ministry of Education for over a decade.

The agreement establishes a framework for academic cooperation and exchange programs, mutual recognition of degrees and research program.

MIUC and UNECON recognise that excellency in education in a global world can only be achieved through integrated efforts bridging the boundaries between disciplines, societal sectors and scientific knowledge, and acknowledge that the experience of international programmes act as a stimulus to the rapid transfer of knowledge through twinning programmes, networking and other linking arrangements.

MIUC´s mission is to provide high-quality university education thorough an innovative learning experience based on an advanced curriculum, cutting-edge technology and a unique living environment. This, combined with UNECON´s mission to form global leaders by integrating fundamental university educative concepts with innovative knowledge-transfer technologies, coupled with the preservation of socio-cultural values and the development of business culture and entrepreneurial behavior, along with the continuity of research traditions allow MIUC, via the combined efforts of university lecturers, researchers, managers and administrators from different countries and regions across the world to benefit the entire academic community and assist in the quality-learning process.

This important new partnership with the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics will help our students gain a deeper awareness of how the world works, including the relationships between industries, businesses and governments, enhancing their ability to critically assess information, deliver disciplined and well-structured arguments and become more confident global team players.
