MIUC holds its fourth Annual Pool Party and BBQ

Once again, and just before finals, the MIUC campus got into party mode – pool party mode that is – relaxing and chatting with friends just before the semester´s end.

The weather was superb, with bright sunshine illuminating the happy students, faculty and staff as they flitted from one activity to another.

The party kicked off to a great start with music, food, drinks, and a dazzling array of various sports activities, which were well visited indeed!

MIUC Students vs staff

Once all were replete, and just a tad tuckered out from all the horseplay, games and pool fun, MIUC was treated to a first screening of graduating student Sarah Berzel´s documentary on THE Oliva Valère, a well-known celebrity here in Marbella. Congratulations, Sarah – and to your supervisor Cristina Gonzalez and cameraman Milan Trninic as well!

A huge shout out to the folks in the Student Life Department and friends, for their hard work and preparation, including all the improvements to the courts and hoops over several weeks– we all appreciated it very much.

And a special thank you to Stefan Nenezic who came for the fun and stayed to expertly cook up some delicious burgers.

The activities were non-stop, including Staff vs. Students matches in futsal, basketball and volleyball, as well as various matches of 3v3 football, 3v3 basketball, Ping-pong, Volleyball, Badminton, Chess and various other fun competitions.

MIUC-Pool-Party

The party wended its merry close around 21:00, and it remains only to wish all our students the best of luck for their upcoming finals and various essays and papers still to be written, and an especially fond farewell to the Class of 2018, as we prepare to launch our very first MIUC graduands this June.

All the best!
