Do you like politics? Most people don´t. This workshop gives you the basics about politics so you can have your minute of glory in a conversation. Forget about the typical excuse “I hate politics”. Now you can learn the basics and even get to like it!

Oscar Martinez Tapia is the Dean of MIUC. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University and the University of California (Center for the Study of Democracy) and a member of Research Groups at Universidad de Deusto (Spain) and Wissenchaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (Germany). He holds a Teaching Excellence Award from Saint Louis University Missouri (USA) and the Best Teaching Evaluations Award from the University of California Irvine (USA).

Manuel Arias Maldonado is an Associate Professor at the University of Málaga. He has been a Fulbright scholar at the University of Berkeley and a recipient of Salvador de Madariaga scholarship at the Rachel Carson Center in Munich. His latest book “Environment & Society: Socionatural relations in the Anthropocene” was published by Springer in 2015. He is also a regular contributor to a number of newspapers and cultural journals.
