Twitter app now released for Windows 10

Twitter along with Microsoft has announced a new app for Windows 10. The all-new Twitter app is made available alongside the launch of Windows 10 for PCs and tablets. It is a Windows app that offers instant access to top tweets, photos and videos, without the need for a login. Users will now see tweets in live tiles from the Start menu.

Besides the Twitter live tiles, some of the highlights of the Windows 10 app include the ability to upload multiple (up to four) photos. The app also supports animated GIFs, Vine playback and sharing photos privately via Direct Messages. The tweets with photos, Vine videos and other select content will now show a preview in the Home timeline.

Twitter for Windows is now available for Windows 10 users across the globe and users can expect some improvements added to the app as well.

Recently, Twitter updated the iOS app to version 6.33, which is in line with the new API that comes with iOS 8. It brings interactive notifications and also allows to favourite or reply to a tweet directly from the notification panel when another app is running on the screen.

With the updated app, iOS users can also view and work on their saved drafts too. The updated Twitter for iOS is now available to download from the App Store.
